This life changing revelation from the Lord has marked me and made me who I am today. God is all about the One. He loves people so much.
Right now, I am writing this blog post at the airport on my layover. I had to wake up at 5am for a early flight and when I got on the plane and sat down, I just wanted to take a long nap. But God had other plans.
Sitting next to me was a man named Carlos, he was on his way to New Orleans for a Essence music festival. He had many questions to ask me about God, religion, our current culture and he was a skeptic. He has a valid question when he asked, why are there so many Christians out there who do bad things?
I explained to him the difference between those who claim to be a Christian and those that actually live differently and reflect Christ. You will know them by their fruit. I had his attention. The Holy Spirit led me in what to say and the more I talked to him the more he began to understand. I asked if I could pray for him and then asked God to give him a real encounter with who Jesus is and that he would never be the same. It was such a God setup. God loves Carlos and sent me to share the gospel with him because he loves the One.
