I’ll never forget this one day, early on in my ministry, when God downloaded a zinger quote for me to post online.💥 So I’m sitting at my computer about to create a design with the divine message but than I paused and had the thought that, “this won’t be popular, people might not like it.” So I was thinking of a way to edit, to soften what he said.
But as soon as that thought crossed my mind, the Holy Spirit convicted me and told me, “ You can either please God or man, not both. Choose today.” 😳
In that moment I said, “I choose you Lord.”
He replied, “You will be my mouthpiece. Say it exactly how I tell you to say it. Not everyone will like what you have to say but I will be well pleased.”
Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.” –Galatians 1:10
True Freedom
Wow what a burden that is lifted when you stop caring what anyone has to say but God. When Obedience to him is all that matters. Fear of man doesn’t run your life, people pleasing doesn’t motivate you, this worlds success won’t drive you. Nothing matters but pleasing the Father.
This is true freedom. True deliverance. True peace.
We live in a time in history when we must be bolder than ever. God is calling his children to walk in discernment, righteousness and humility. The enemy has taken territory in our culture because the church is compromising. Fear of man and people pleasing has keep Christians silent. If we look like the world while staying tolerant of sin then we have no spiritual authority and the enemy wins.
Walk in your God given authority friends. You were created for such a time as this.
♡ Keep up the good fight, Leah

Amen. I love this quote from an earlier related post: “Those that surrender all are mighty for the kingdom of God and they successfully cancel the assignments of the enemy. God also trusts them with his kingdom business and uses them to change a generation and to make an unerasable mark. The devil knows this so he keeps Christians distracted, broken and convinced that they are in God’s will so that they will never become who they were born to be.”
