This month I celebrate 10 years of Lens of Faith Ministries. Thank you for your support and encouragement. Reflecting on 10 years, I am in awe of God’s faithfulness and what he continues to do in and through all because I said Yes.

Many of you know the ministry origin story but for those that don’t, it all started in a garage. I was in the midst of one of the toughest seasons in my life. In addition, God had me living in a “renovated” garage with a very challenging landlord, roommate and part of town. Not only did he give me the revelation of The One during this time but he also called me to start Lens of Faith.

As I was sitting at my desk, he instructed me to start blogging. I laughed and said, “Who’s going to read another blog out there?” His response was, “Do it. I’m going to speak through you. This will be the beginning of your ministry.”

Out of obedience, I would blog every week as Holy Spirit led. Then five years ago before the pandemic, the Lord led me to podcast. Come to find out, most people were listening to podcasts during that time. Then four years ago he had me publish my book, Lens of Faith and now my second book, The One are available on my Shop page. I’ve since spoken at events, mentored women and now lead teams regularly to street evangelize.

Trust God

None of this is my doing. It’s all glory to God and a testament of what he will do with a life that is surrendered fully to him. It’s trusting God step by step, everyday. He always gives you the grace that you need to complete your assignment.

When you partner with the Lord, then he is able to use you to display his signs and wonders, transform you in order to reflect him and to make a lasting impact on others. I encourage you to trust God and give him your Yes. It’s the best way to live.
