Taxing the Church

There is a 6th misconception that Amanda forgot to mention on our interview but she called me after to add. There is the misconception that churches need to be 501-C3’s!

Churches are not required to obtain 501-C3 status. Therefore, they do not have to self-censor their freedom of speech in not speaking on political issues.

Churches are not supposed to run like a business.

Our Founders never expected the churches to be taxed. Because the people were giving back to God what He had provided to them. And that money is used to advance the Kingdom. 

If it is God’s, the government has no right to tax it.
