These are difficult, uncertain and really weird times. This Coronavirus has people living in fear. It is really showing the true colors of those buying up all the toilet paper in stock. Yes, we should be cautious and wise during this time but living fearful is not the answer.
Fear Not
Did you know that “Fear not” is commanded by Jesus in the bible 365 times? There are also 365 days in a year. So every single day God is urging us to Fear Not. What a discovery!
Peace in Uncertainty
No matter what happens in this life, Jesus calls us to trust Him. If you are worried then you are not trusting Him. He gives peace in the storm. Keep your eyes on Jesus and the cares of this world will go strangely dim.
The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace.” – Psalm 28:11
We all face fear or worry at some point but be quick to take those concerns to Jesus. Only He can change situations, move mountains in our lives and bring clarity.
Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?” -Matthew 6:26-27
Here’s a couple of my favorite internet jokes out there:
Those that do not know Jesus are the ones leaving the empty shelves in the stores, leaving no supplies for others. When we know Him, we live like He never leaves or forsakes us. We live in that confidence. Remember, if it was God’s timing for you to leave this earth then you would, virus or not.
Let’s Pray:
“Lord, I give you all worry and fear I might be feeling during this time. I pray for safety over me and the people of America. Please give me wisdom when it comes to being out in public. I trust you as my Protector. Amen.”
Yumicki says
Amen! Fear not! God does not give us a spirit of fear. Thank you for spreading your light.
