We’ve all been there. Tired of our job, our boss, our day to day tasks. It can make us feel weary and want to give up. We wonder if this is our purpose. There is one thing that I have found that keeps me going and with a good attitude.
Knowing without a doubt that God has me exactly where I’m supposed to be. He is my boss. I don’t work for man, I work for God. I’m not here for you, I’m here for God.
So when people try you, push you, or don’t appreciate you, then you can let it go. I mean really let it go, not act as you have. Because really the only power they have is what God allows.
Far better to take refuge in God than trust in people; The Lord is for me; I will not fear; What can man do to me” – Psalm 118:6
He wants you to seek Him, stay humbly obedient, and keep your heart free of offense. It’s what matters most.
It’s a constant fight, a battle, a release. Being bombarded by family, people at church, co-workers and that’s just naming who you see most. Then you have politics, the news, growing evil and social media tugging at us. More than anything we must keep our head up.
Our Protector, Jesus assigns and unassigns for those that are surrendered to Him. You’re not here to waste time and just finish the task at hand. He has a strategic purpose for you. A job you alone can do.
Let’s Pray
“Lord, please forgive me for looking to the left and the right. Help me to stay focused on you. To please you without any fear of man. Give me a deeper revelation of my purpose in this season. Give me your perspective and refresh my spirit. Amen.”
