This weekend was Father’s Day and we celebrate the men who raised us. You might have an amazing father or you might not. You may of had no father figure at all. But the good news is, there is a Perfect Father who loves you. The Father’s love that we can truly count on comes from our heavenly Father. He continues to prove how faithful he is.
Quality Time
We spend time doing so many other things, but the greatest time spent is sitting alone, distraction free, with father God. Jesus meets your needs because he cares for his children. Even good earthly fathers fail but he is perfect in all of his ways. There is no one more righteous, faithful, kind, loving or dependable. He is our Provider, Protector, Lover, Best Friend, King, Savior, Master and he can relate to every heart ache we face.
Jesus has so much more for us when we let it go and truly trust him.
He wants to heal and deliver you from any and every stronghold, burden and whatever is separating you from a close love relationship with him.
Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.
I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.” -Romans 8
