Hey single friends, I got good news for you. 
A man or woman is not the missing piece in your life. They will not complete you. More now than ever I am convinced that God’s better. God keeps proving to me that he is better than a husband.
God had a purpose when he had marriage in mind. That the two would be better than one. Two whole people with the same spiritual alignment who would be better together than apart, a healthy soul tie. I want to be married for this reason, to be a purpose driven, kingdom minded power couple.
I just got off a 3+ hr facetime convo with my sister, who’s currently doing missions in Costa Rica. Both of us have been married, are single and want a husband. But we want the right one. Lately, we’ve seen friends rush to say yes and end up disappointed.
I know when your single, you joke “Jesus is my husband” but really you feel lonely and like your missing out. In this single season, allow God to fill that every void. If you draw close to him, he will draw close to you.
God, you’re my PROVIDER.
You’re my COMFORT.
You’re my PEACE.
You are my HEALER.
You’re my PROTECTOR.
You are my LOVER.
You’re my BEST FRIEND.
God, you’re better than a husband.”
If my man doesn’t reflect you Jesus, I don’t want him. The right mate is worth the wait.
God wants to do great things in and through us now in the waiting.
Don’t rush to the alter friends. Don’t settle. Marriage is no joke. It’s a powerful covenant meant to last. Make sure you’re in God’s perfect will for your life.
