You may wonder, does God still show up like he did in the Bible to perform modern day miracles? I mean things that seem impossible? The answer is Yes. This week, my friend sent me this amazing testimony and it’s too good to keep to myself.
Abraham and Sarah
This is a couple in Africa who after 40 years of marriage, became pregnant at an old age. They waited and trusted God in the midst of being mocked and slandered but God had the last laugh. He always does.

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for. By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going. And by faith even Sarah, who was past childbearing age, was enabled to bear children because she considered him faithful who had made the promise. And so from this one man, and he as good as dead, came descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as countless as the sand on the seashore.” -Hebrews 11
Encouragement
This story personally encourages me since I can relate to enduring, trusting God for the impossible and the doubt and backlash that comes with that calling. When you don’t do life in a “normal” common way, people won’t understand. But you will know when God is in it. He confirms over and over and gives you the supernatural grace needed for the assignment he’s called you too.
I want to encourage anyone that is waiting for God to do what seems impossible in your life. Don’t give up. He is always right on time and he doesn’t move according to the worlds time line. Go deeper in your understanding of him and gain his perspective. Know him as a good father, friend, lover and provider.
He has never failed and he won’t start now.
Stay Encouraged, Leah
