Change begins at the local level. We must vote right now for Godly candidates who will fight for the future of America, our children. Michele Morrow, NC School Board candidate, sits down with me and shares the importance of voting right.
Why Should You Care About Your Local School Board?
Did you know that in 2017 nearly half of America’s 1,000 largest school districts are holding elections? Those elected school board members will represent over 10 million students throughout 34 states in the U.S. Yet, local school board elections are notorious for low voter turnout—often just five or ten percent.
We can do better, and as Christians, we have a great opportunity to bring the influence of our faith into this important responsibility of educating our kids.
I think we often get caught up in the hype of state and national elections. We argue about the relative merits of candidates for president, Congress, and governor – and these are important conversations. But do you realize that you might likely influence your community more directly through your local school board?
Vote Biblically
We need Godly leaders in government and fearless preachers behind the pulpit. The church has stayed silent for too long and now more than ever we see the enemy running our street buck wild. The indoctrination, the perversion, the premature deaths, the demonic worship has reached an all time high in America.
We as adults who were not raised with such craziness can handle this change but our innocent children are being harmed. The fruit of our silence is the death culture we now live in. Suicides, school shootings, fentanyl deaths are constant and are on the rise.
We must take a stand. We were born for such a time as this.
