Welcome Home Prodigal

December 29, 2021 · 4 Comments

Well friends, I’m ending 2021 with a bang! Don’t miss listening to this miracle story on the last podcast episode of the year, Welcome Home Prodigal.

Tune in for this special podcast episode as my brother, Nathan shares his powerful testimony for the first time publically. For most of his life, he has lived a crazy life of rebellion. He was running the streets, selling/doing drugs, doing crime, being promiscuous, angry, and running from God.

LIVING LOST

Well, last year we took a family camping trip and I didn’t want him there. But he came and as I knew he would, he unleashed his demons. Everything became chaotic as he stirred up drama within the family.

I announced to some of my family afterward, something I’ve never said. “I love Nathan and will continue to pray for him but unless he gets radically saved, I want nothing to do with him.”

Nathan has always had a preachers calling on his life. He has always carried authority and influence, has even brought drug dealers to flushing their drugs down the toilet, under the conviction of the holy spirit. We were raised with the fear of God so he knows the truth but has never been ready to surrender.

He should be dead. I mean deader than dead. But God has protected him, it’s really crazy. He has survived car accidents that would kill most, people tried to kill him, jail tried to end him…there were so many times the enemy tried to take him out.

BUT GOD.

Fast forward to earlier this year, God got his attention. My brother completely surrendered his life to Christ. I mean surrendered it all. He even gave up things and habits that he loved that were not sinful, out of obedience to God.

He told me recently, “God is urging me to die to self. I got rid of things that had a hold on me, like the gym, video games, music, lust..all of it. Leah, you inspire me and help me grow. You’re so beautiful.” 😭

The Holy Spirit is working through me to mentor and disciple him, as we face time almost every day. I encourage him to live obedient no matter the cost and to cultivate a deep relationship with Jesus.

THE PRODIGAL SON HAS RETURNED HOME. 😭😭

His father saw his lost son and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him. For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.” – Luke 15: 11-32

Thank you Jesus. There ain’t no sinner that you can’t save.

God has literally turned this mans life around.

If you are praying and hoping for a family member to get saved, Don’t give up. God performs miracles. Watch him do it! 🙌🙌

Tune in to hear Nathan’s testimony and how God is using him mightily now on the podcast episode, Welcome Home Prodigal:

If the devil can’t get rid of you in your mother If the devil can’t get rid of you in your mother’s womb then he will attack your mind, your life to try and defeat you. ⚠️
You must be on guard, know his tactics and defeat him with the authority God has given you as a believer. Believe truth over lies friends.
God doesn’t make mistakes.
You are chosen.
Your life has great purpose.
You are loved.
💙
“The devil was a murderer from the beginning, and does not uphold the truth, because there is no truth in him.

Whenever he lies, he speaks according to his own nature, because he is a liar and the father of lies.”

When the devil tries to attack us with doubt & dis When the devil tries to attack us with doubt & discouragement, we must use our God given authority to silence the father of lies.
SPEAK BACK. 🗣
His #1 goal is to get you to give up on your purpose, your promises, your dreams, your relationships and ultimately your life.
He’ll make you think you have mental illness, anxiety, depression & confusion. He’ll even have you blame others but in reality he is the peace robber. He is the root cause of the attacks on your mind.
He knows that if he can control your thoughts, then he can control your life.
He’s never original. All he can do is counterfeit. He’s been up to his same ol’ tricks since day one in the garden. 🐍
But there’s hope, friends. The more you captivate your thoughts, stop entertaining yourself with the things of this world, saturate yourself in God’s word, allow him access to your heart, let him heal you of your past and believe the truth of who he says you are, the more you’ll live FREE.
The enemy will constantly try to sneak in and lie when he knows we’re vulnerable. But when he realizes that we cannot be moved, then he loses his power over us and backs off. 🔥 Remember, you are not defeated. You are more than a conqueror in Christ. 💙
“I have given you the authority to resist the devil and he will flee from you. Do not fear. Be strong & Courageous.” -James 4:7, Joshua 1:9
Side note: not everything is the devils fault. But if you are living surrendered to God then attacks on your mind to try and cancel your purpose, need to be silenced.

It’s easy to tell someone you love them but acti It’s easy to tell someone you love them but actions speaking louder than words, is when you’re selfless. Saying yes when you want to say no and with a good attitude is the best proof.
Jesus is the best example of this. He proved his true love for us when he sacrificed on the cross and he did it willingly.
Be a person who sacrifices for others. Live selfless in a selfish world. Be there when it counts by acting like Jesus.💙
