Yes, praying is powerful and necessary but oftentimes it can be our excuse to stay comfortable and silent. God is calling us to pray and to love in action. What breaks the heart of God? There are so many critical issues that break the heart of God and they should also be breaking our heart, especially if we claim to follow and love Jesus.

Jesus died for the oppressed. He chases after the lost. Our good father mends the broken. He speaks up for the voiceless. Oh how He loves us.

YOU DID IT TO ME

I was hungry and you fed me,
I was thirsty and you gave me a drink,
Living homeless and you gave me a room,
I was shivering and you gave me clothes,
I was sick and you stopped to visit,
Here in prison and you came to me.’

And when did we ever see you sick or in prison and come to you?’ Then the King will say, ‘I’m telling the solemn truth: Whenever you did one of these things to someone overlooked or ignored, that was me—you did it to me.” -Matthew 25
