Are you ever amazed by how God comes through when we can’t He could meet our needs in a smaller, less spectacular way but instead He wants to out do Himself. To show us how powerful and real He truly is. To move in a way that cannot be explained and no human can duplicate. This is our sea splitting God.
Throughout History you see His power in action. As I was reading the story of Joshua needing to cross the Jordan River with the Israelites, I was once again reminded. God not only split the Red Sea with Moses but He did the same with Joshua when faced by the Jordan.
And theLord said to Joshua, Today I will begin to exalt you in the eyes of all Israel, so they may know that I am with you as I was with Moses.” – Joshua 3:7
I don’t know what sea is raging in your life but know this, the same God of Moses and Joshua is also the God of your situation. He is the almighty sea splitting God. Nothing is too big for Him and He will do the impossible for your possible.
The Lord your God did to the Jordan what he had done to the Red Sea when he dried it up before us until we had crossed over. He did this so that all the peoples of the earth might know that the hand of the Lord is powerful and so that you might always fear the Lord your God.” – Joshua 4:23-24
Let’s Pray:
“Lord, move in a mighty way in my life. Do a sea splitting miracle where there seems to be no way. Forgive me for any doubt. Help me to have great faith in who you are. Display your powers and wonders so that all will see that you are the same yesterday, today and forever. Amen.”
