Here I am, sitting down tonight in the quiet to reflect on this awesome weekend. I attended a powerful women’s conference, Fearless conference. There were so many confirmations for me about faith, believing God no matter how it looks and pressing in.
Time and time again I see God surround me with mutual edification. It is so encouraging to see anointed women of God rise up and declare the truth.
You can’t listen to those who’ve never been where you’re going.” – Nicole Crank
Instead of getting together with girlfriends to vent and complain about what you don’t like in life, encourage each other. Ask important questions such as, “How’s your heart?” “How can I pray for you?”
We are bombarded by negativity, haters, and life’s challenges we don’t need to spend precious time with others that aren’t pointing us to Christ. We need to take it to God not constantly to others.
We also need to stop laziness. It is keeping us from the most important thing which is reading His word and connecting with Jesus daily.
It’s a dangerous thing to serve God day after day and not be in His presence.” – Janice Sjostrand
Here is one of the messages from the women’s conference this weekend!
As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” -Proverbs 27:17
Let’s Pray:
“Jesus, give me a craving for you. Convict me of distractions. I want to sit and glean from you. Give me a hunger for your word. Enlarge my faith. Change my perspective. Captivate my thoughts. I desire you above all. You are the only fulfillment, the only true satisfaction. I choose to forgive any offender. Purify my heart so that I can receive from you. So that I can be all you’ve called me to be. Amen.”
