Blown away. That is the best way I can respond to His sweet favor. Over and over He is reminding me that He alone is our provider. He is our source and He alone is our protection. He truly is our all in all. No man can give it unless God alone initiates it.
Just yesterday, He came through supernaturally. I was told by different Dentists that I needed expensive dental work done, being that I pay out of pocket this was a hit. So immediately I started by asking my provider to show up and work this out. I was then recommended to one that works with patients but there is a six page waiting list.
I went in for my consultation yesterday and the girl at the front desk and I hit it off. All of a sudden she calls me this morning to tell me someone rescheduled their appointment and asked if I could be there this Monday at 10 am! I was like Wow God! Only you could have made that happen! You amaze me, Jesus.
But God
This is just the most recent example. I watch Him open doors that no man can shut. Believe that He is who He says He is. Don’t underestimate or second guess the power of God. Remember, the key is to live each day with confidence that the same God that split the red sea, the same God that raised Jesus from the grave lives in us. He is alive and well and ever moving.
For you bless the righteous, O Lord; you cover them with favor as with a shield.” – Psalm 5:12
We as people tend to turn to others when we have a problem or we seek help through various resources. Then when we have exhausted all else, we turn to God as a last resort. That was me, Miss Independent living like, I got this God.
Now I am fully convinced that I need Him every moment of every day. He wants us to turn to Him first. Before anything or anyone else. I believe He is pleased with a heart that stays humble, teachable and reliant on Him alone.
When He displays favor in your life, thank Him and tell everyone. It keeps others’ faith alive. Everyone is going through something or will where they need help. Sharing your God stories not only give Him all the Glory and credit due but it encourages others to be fully reliant on the One.
