Merry Christmas loved ones! I pray you have a beautiful season filled with hope, peace, and reminders of His great love. For our gift of Jesus is the greatest gift of all. December always brings reflection on the year that is coming to an end.
As I look back on this year of 2017, God has taught me a deeper reliance on Him. He has given me supernatural endurance and revelation. I have traveled to Israel, California a few times and was introduced to the dreamy island of Nantucket. This year also marks the one year anniversary of Lens of Faith.
In every season, especially in this Christmas season, we can be overwhelmed with gift-giving, decorating perfectly, family dynamics, and the pressure of it all. Let us keep in mind that we already have the greatest gift of all, His name is Jesus and he’s the gift that keeps on giving.
Let us take an undistracted moment every day to thank Him for who he is. Not for what he can do for us but for what he has already done. Our King came to the earth, in such a humble way, to save us from destruction.
Thank you, Lord for your presence, protection, provision, and power. Every day I am reminded of your goodness. Whether, in the storm or in the sunshine, you deserve all our praise. You are good and faithful.
I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people, a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” –Luke 2
Yes, it’s true, my best friend was born in a manger.
