God has such an EPIC purpose for you BUT he is waiting for you to partner with him. Obedience always brings blessings and the best rewards come from saying Yes to the Lord. Many say that they “love God” but he clearly tells us over and over, if you love me, you’ll obey me. -John 14:15

The Lord is serious about his people obeying him and living with the fear of God. All throughout the Bible there are historic true stories of God punishing his people for a lack of obedience. He also promises a life of reward for the obedient.

I can testify, even though it’s not always easy to step out into the unknown, trusting the Lord and saying yes always pays off. I have never regretted obeying God but I have regretted going my own way. Many struggle with obedience because they don’t want to step out of their comfort zones and many times it’s a lack of trust. If you don’t know the one asking you to obey, then how can you trust that they won’t fail?

You must first spend time with the Lord, get to know him. Then you can trust him and his unchanging character. Look back on his perfect track record, he has never failed you. Believe that he is always good, no matter how things appear. He goes before you and he never orders something, he doesn’t pay for.
