Does the thought of digging into the bible seem overwhelming? Sometimes feel impersonal? That was me in the past. It was not easy to take these God stories from long ago and have them relate to my current struggles. That was until God showed me differently.
That He is the same yesterday, today and forever making every word relevant. And anytime I go to read “man”, “he” or “they”, replace it with my name. That changed everything when it came to me reading the bible and connecting in a personal way that makes every promise so real.
You see, when He spoke a deep revelation to me a couple of years ago of “how much He loves the one and He would move heaven and earth for the one” it gave me such a new perspective.
His word brings life
Each verse is catered to me personally because we are “the one.” I encourage you to sit down and start reading His life-giving word which had meaning not just for Luke, John and James but is just as powerful for us today.
Then Leah cried out to the Lord in her trouble, and the Lord brought her out of her distress. The Lord stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed. Leah was glad when it grew calm, and the Lord guided her to her desired haven. Let Leah give thanks to the Lord for His unfailing love and His wonderful deeds for her.” –Psalm 107: 28-31
Jesus is our intimate father and friend. He speaks sweetly over us in many forms. He is not a distant God but remains close and holds the hope of unchanging promises just as much today as in History.
Thank you, Jesus, for the promises in your word that never fail, never revise, and are forever personal.

Right on Leah. Many believers I think forget that the Bible is the infallible inspired
( God breathed ) put on paper…..BUT revealed by the Holy Spirit as we
seek Him in prayer. 1 Corinthians 2 : 14 When God opens up our
understanding…. His word becomes more than just head knowledge.
It becomes life to us and through us. Romans 10 : 17
