Has God ever asked you to do something that’s far out of your comfort zone? If your answer is no then maybe you’re not listening. He has called us all, as Jesus followers to live a life of faith, that brings Him glory.
Without faith it is impossible to please God, he rewards those who earnestly seek Him.” –Hebrews 11:6
There is a misconception that God wants us to be comfortable, when in fact he calls us to storm hell for His kingdom’s sake. He is not the God of comfort. He’s the God of peace. Comfort promotes laziness and laziness keeps us idle. However, in obedience, he gives us peace that can only come from being in perfect alignment with Him.
He beckons us to live a beautiful life filled with purpose. Don’t allow the predictable strategies of the enemy to hinder you. We must stay suited.
Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devils schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Therefore put on the full armor of God, stand firm with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” – Ephesians 6:10-17

I often get asked in my current season, How do I know it’s all God? There are many confirmations, but the first thing that comes to mind is supernatural Peace. I have more peace now, being stripped of everything, than when I had all my ducks in a row, living comfortably. That doesn’t make sense, right? It’s proof of God.
You must prepare beforehand. Get your heart right. Let loose of your grip on this world and trust whatever he may call you to. You can’t wait till you need your well before you dig your well.
He is seeking those that are set apart. Those that are willing to die to self and truly live for Him. It’s not a popular or easy choice. It is, however, the life of the world changer and our generation is desperate for more than the average and God is never average.
Let us pray:
“Lord, give us ears to hear. Fearless hearts and obedient lives that please you. Make it clear what brave step you want me to take to bring you glory. Amen.”
The question that matters most is, Am I doing everything I was put on this earth to do?
